See the Winter Play!

The winter play is Identity Crisis, two one-act comedies by Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang.  It will be performed Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7 PM, and Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 4 PM and 7 PM in the GBS Lyceum. Tickets are $7.00 or free with a student activity pass.
The first play, The Actor's Nightmare, concerns a mild mannered accountant who wakes up suddenly one day on stage and is forced to appear in several plays, none of which he has ever rehearsed or even seen!  The second play, 'Dentity Crisis, depicts Jane, who is recovering from a nervous breakdown.  She is nursed and nagged by her energetic and overwhelming mother, Edith Fromage, who claims to have invented cheese. She also criticizes Jane for her suicide attempt, but then claims it never happened. Plus Jane is very confused by the fact that her mother and her brother Dwayne seem to be having an affair. But then at other times, her brother turns into her father, and then into her grandfather, and sometimes into a French count. And it gets odder still when her psychiatrist appears on the scene!
The cast includes:  Alessandro Berto, Michael Sarov, Jake Biales, Anna Bundy, Brendan Redfern, George Wood, Audrey Hwang, Gabi Soto, Sarah Patt, Kayla Kraft, Elena Maciel, Gabby Zabat, Sofie Schwarz, Hana Mohammed-Rafee, Ethan Reiss.
