5K Fundraiser-Sept. 20

CONSIDER JOINING US IN THE DRAMA CLUB TO RAISE MONEY AND AWARENESS FOR Special Gifts Theatre.  This year the theatre is producing both The Wizard of Oz and Shrek the Musical for special needs students to perform in!

Later this month they are having a 5K Run and Walk  in Erickson Woods Forest Preserve. 

We will meet at GBS at 8:00am on Sunday, Sept. 20., to carpool over there.

Zeitgeist Auditons

Auditions for the Freshman/Sophomore play, Zeitgeist, will be Sept. 9 (Wednesday) after school in the Lyceum.  See Mr. Maranto in the center for more details.  He will also be at the Sept. 8 Drama Club meeting to tell you more about this student written-and-performed show!

Crucible Auditions

Click the link below for audition information regarding the fall play, The Crucible by Arthur Miller.  I ask that you prepare one monologue ahead of time.  There will also be some cold reading of scenes from the play. Auditions will be held on Monday, Aug. 31 with possible callbacks on Tuesday, Sept. 1.  For more information, see the Drama call board outside room 555 or see Mr. Knight, the director.

One Act plays

Come see the senior-directed one-act plays this Wednesday, may 13th, in the Drama/Dance room at 4 and again at 7.  There are 3 short plays in all, directed by Eyram Agbenya, Alessandro Berto, and Anna Busch.

Drama Banquet Ballot

Here is the ballot for the annual Drama Club academy awards.  You may vote only once.  You must be logged in using your Glenbrook ID.  Voting will be closed by Thursday evening at 10 pm.  Choose carefully--these awards mean a lot because the winners are decided by you, their peers.
