The Addams Family Cast List

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who auditioned and participated in callbacks for the 2021 Glenbrook Musical: The Addams Family! It was such a joy to bear witness to your talent, enthusiasm, professionalism, and joy during auditions and callbacks. We truly appreciate everyone who prepared for auditions and callbacks, and the sheer amount of talent made our casting decision a difficult one. We encourage anyone who was not cast to get involved in one of the crews for the show! Check back here for more information on crews soon.

We will have a meeting for the full cast on Tuesday, March 2nd from 3:45 - 4:15pm. Please note that only the tenors and basses are called in-person (at GBS) on Tuesday. Sopranos and altos will join us on Zoom for the meeting. Please review the Week 1 Rehearsal Schedule document below for a breakdown of who is called to each rehearsal this week. A more detailed breakdown of Wednesday's and Thursday's call times will be shared at the meeting on Tuesday.

Please bring a three-ring binder and a pencil to your first rehearsal next week to house your script. Costume measurements will also take place next week.

The Addams Family Callback Information

Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned for the 2021 Glenbrook Musical: The Addams Family! We had over 100 students audition this year and we were so impressed by your submissions. We are so grateful to everyone who took the time to practice, record, and submit their auditions. 

Please note that for the musical this year, we are only holding callbacks for the leading roles. If you are not called back for a lead role, you still may be in consideration for a role in the Ensemble or as a Featured Dancer. If you are called back for a lead role, you will automatically be considered for a role in the Ensemble or as a Featured Dancer as well.

The callback materials can be found in the original Audition Folder HERE. Some roles will be asked to sing a cut of the character song from auditions, while some will be asked to prepare another song from the show. Most of the characters called back will also read scenes from the show, which can be found HERE. You should be familiar with the material but you do not need to be memorized. Please bring your own copy of the songs/scenes (digital or printed) to your callback. Printed materials will not be available.

Callbacks will be held in person at GBS this Friday, February 26th from 3:45-8:00pm. We will be rotating between the Choir and Orchestra rooms. You must scan into the building upon your arrival; please enter at Door O.

The Addams Family - OPTIONAL Audition Help - Friday 2/19

The deadline for audition submissions for The Addams Family is quickly approaching! Audition submissions are due Tuesday, February 23rd by 9:00pm.

If you have any questions about auditions, the process, or if you are experiencing any technical difficulty with filming your videos/accessing materials/submitting your audition, please join us for an optional, informal Zoom session from 3:30-4:15pm on Friday 2/19.

You do not need to stay for the whole time or arrive right at the start - feel free to pop in for a few minutes to ask your question and receive help from the creative team!
